Emma Strapps Shiatsu

Emma Strapps is a well-established shiatsu massage therapist based in Canberra. She has been operating in the community for over two decades and was looking for a brand refresh and an updated web site with increased functionality.  

In working with Emma, the Stitch team first needed to understand what she offered, who she was looking to help, what her workplace beliefs were, what sort of education she wanted to share with her clients and how she wanted to be perceived.

From there, we began to hone in on the site’s design. We workshopped what she needed the site to do, identified other sites she liked the look and performance of and what colour pallet she was drawn to.  

Using these findings, we were able to create a visually engagine site that was representatitve of her business and personality. We were able to build in a comprehensive booking system that was tailored to her various working hours, as well as appointment durations while also leaving time in-between appointments to reset the space.

Stitch Communications also ensured that Emma and her team were confident in using the back-end of the website as needed, while providing ongoing support as they learned the digital ropes of it.

The website has seen an increase in bookings as well as allowed Emma the ability to create a newsletter subscription base and offer shiatsu training courses to expand her business offering.
